Henry Sibun is chairing and speaking at the Medical Device Summer School Conference 16th – 18th July 2008.

Henry Sibun, who heads up TÜV Product Service’s Medical Health Services group in the UK, will be chairing the first day of the Medical Device Summer School Conference in Cambridge on Wednesday 16th July. This will be the first day of the conference and will include a presentation by Henry in the opening session on medical device definitions and the EU directives which apply to medical devices in the European market. Participants will gain an insight into:

- What is a medical device?

- What is a combination product?

- How do medical devices differ from pharmaceuticals?

- What are the key directives?

- What do the directives mean for your role?

The objective of the summer school is for participants to gain a complete view of the medical device industry. It also represents an opportunity for them to learn and refresh their knowledge of the industry, its key players and the medical device product cycle.
