Highly Accelerated Life Testing at TÜV Product Service
TÜV Product Service is the Leading Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT) Authority in Europe. Over the last 13 years we have conducted more HALT and Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS) testing on more product types, than any other independent test laboratory. We are pleased to be able to share some of our experience during a two day seminar at our custom built test facilities in Fareham, Hampshire on the 10th-11th June.
TÜV Product Service is presenting a two day seminar which is suitable for everyone who would like to know more about how to conduct and get the most from HALT & HASS testing.The seminar will include a practical session where we will be able to demonstrate some of the current techniques.
Guest presenter and leading industry consultant, Hari Mountogianakis from TÜV SÜD Product Service in Germany, will present some of the course material, providing expert information based on years of experience operating the largest HALT/HASS facility in Europe.
HALT and HASS are particularly useful in precipitating failures in electronic products and are used extensively by leading manufacturers as part of their design and production processes. HALT is designed to detect weaknesses in a product during its design phase and can be used to detect weaknesses that may occur over the course of a product’s life. HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening) will ensure that the reliability gains achieved through HALT testing will be maintained during future production. HALT & HASS testing increases market confidence by significantly reducing the number of failures during the life of a product and can reduce the life cycle costs to the manufacturer, by cutting the number of warranty claims.
