TÜV Product Service improves its wireless testing capabilities
As part of our ongoing commitment to providing our customers with the best and most up to date test service, the wireless testing department at TÜV Product Service has recently completed an equipment replacement programme which gives us a significant improvement in our capability and efficiency for testing wireless products.
By investing in the latest signal generation and analysis equipment we have extended and improved our offering for new and existing technologies such as Wimax™, 2G/3G infrastructure, WLAN, 802.11 a/b/g, DVB(H), HSPA, ZigBee and RFID.
The new equipment allows us to generate and measure complex digital modulation schemes using the in-built arbitrary waveform generators, which means that we can offer testing to the latest technologies and we can also speed up and improve the accuracy of our existing test services for the more established technologies by using new low-phase noise signal generators.
The new equipment is “future-proofed” for emerging technologies such as HSUPA and LTE. It is also upgradeable for existing technologies as they develop, one example being the capability to measure the DFS (Dynamic Frequency Selection) function of an 802.11 a device.
