VCA e-marking Testing

TÜV Product Service is a designated VCA Technical Service involved in the Testing and Certification application for Separate Technical Units and Electronic Sub Assemblies for fitting in road vehicles, i.e. passenger vehicles, lorries buses etc, off-road vehicles, i.e. tractors, earth moving equipment etc, and motorcycles. autopic.gif

We are also involved in the testing and certification of after market products such as entertainment systems, navigation and communications systems.

We also performs certification testing to PITO ACS 5 issue 10 and various EN/ISO specifications i.e. ISO13766.

Our Test facility comprises a fully enclosed Open Field Test Site where emissions testing at 10m may be performed and a 3m Screened Chamber where Emissions and Immunity testing are performed. A further test area is available for ISO 7637-2 Transient Surges and Conducted Transient Emissions testing.

 

The directives for which we are a designated Technical Service, and the test limitations for each, are as follows:

  • 2006/28/EC, Electronic Sub Assemblies, Annexes 7, 8, 9 and 10
  • 97/24/EC Chapter 8, Electronic Sub Assemblies, Annexes 5, 6 and 7
  • ECE Reg 10.2, Annexes 7 and 8
